Friday Classic Run

Friday 4th September 2026

Full Circle – with a nod to Michael Palin

Organised by Duncan Russell.

Join us for the final Friday Classic Run of 2026 as we round off the season with a scenic “Full Circle” route.

Starting and finishing at The Carpenters Arms, East Winch (PE32 1NP), this enjoyable evening drive covers approximately 40 miles, taking us east, then north, west, south, and finally back east to complete the circle.

Evening Schedule

  • 5:30 pm – Meet at The Carpenters Arms
  • 6:00 pm – Prompt departure
  • 7:30 pm – Return to the pub
  • 8:00 pm – Dinner with friends

Whether you’re a regular on our Friday runs or joining us for the first time, this is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a relaxed drive, great company, and a delicious meal to round off the evening.

To reserve your place, simply reply by email to secretary@kingslynndmc.co.uk, stating names of participants and car and include your menu choices from the menu.

There is no entry fee—just pay the pub directly for your food on the night.

Don’t miss this chance to celebrate the end of another fantastic Friday Classic Run season before we return in April 2027.

North Norfolk Coast & Hills

Join us for a scenic summer evening drive through the beautiful North Norfolk countryside, taking in stunning coastal views and rolling hills before finishing with a delicious BBQ.

The route covers approximately 35 miles of picturesque roads before arriving at:

Due to limited parking at the finish, entries are strictly limited to 12 cars.

Entry Fee

  1. £25.00 per car (two people)
  2. £12.00 for single entries

Payment will be collected in cash at the start when route books are issued.

Additional Information

  1. Toilets available at the start.
  2. The Windmill café will be closed.
  3. Please bring a camping chair.
  4. A marquee will be available at the finish should the weather be less than kind.

Join us for our third Friday night classic run, organised by Jody, Ian and Dave. We’re starting at Ian’s at Downham West at 6:15pm however if you’d link to have a bowls rollup, then arrive from 5:15pm. The finish is at Fincham Swan, menu attached, please make your choices and confirm entry and food requirements with Jody – jodywilson1@live.co.uk Please bring CASH to pay for the food at the start, Ian has had to pay a deposit and will collect monies and pay the pub. Buy your own drinks at the pub. Look forward to seeing you.

Adrian and Caroline Cunnington’s Friday evening Classic run, this time with 14 cars taking part. Starting from GT67 at Kings Lynn and finishing at the Brothers in Arms at Walpole St Andrews, it was a nice ride round some pleasant Norfolk countryside, another well organised and excellent evening.

In search of the North Pole

First Friday night classic car run started at Kim Cairns Snettisham with a ride through some west Norfolk countryside and finished at the Black Horse at Castle Rising, with 19 cars taking part this was a good turnout for our first one of the summer.

Friday Classic Runs

A series of runs, organised by club members, an opportunity to give your classic a run, all classic and interesting cars are welcome (‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder’), open to members and non-members alike and is free to enter.
