If you would like to represent KLDMC please let me have your name and car make, model and registration. We would like to get a varied selection of cars ranging from rally, competition and classics. I hope you are all well. Firstly, I would like to apologise for not getting back to you all sooner. It has been very busy here at Marham!

Looking at the plan for families day, I can comfortably say that each Club will be allowed a maximum of 5 cars. There are still a few details to be confirmed however, this is what I can tell you at this time.

The date of the event will be Friday 15 August. The timings of the event are still TBC. However, on the plus side there is an opportunity to show off your vehicles in an ‘Arena’ please note that this arena will be on our Football pitch, so please let me know your thoughts on this and whether or not you would be interested in that.

Finally, to clear up any rumours that may or may not be going around. Due to Global Deployments taking a considerable amount of work force around the world for most of the year the call has been made to run a Festival style event this year and back to an Airshow type event next year.

Unfortunately this is well out of our control, but many other Stations have already made the move to running an airshow one year and a festival the next. Due to the location of the event this year there is little opportunity to have a static aircraft display however flypasts have been requested.

What this will result in however, is hopefully more involvement from the Classic cars, arena events and certainly a first for us in recent years of also having a classic Military Vehicles display, we will also be trying to run an arena style drive through car show rather than just the static cars.

Obviously It is within your gift if you support the event still, but ultimately we are still pulling together what should be a fabulous event to support our military families during a time of incredibly high Station deployments.
