Kings Lynn & District Motor Club (KLDMC) is a highly active, multi-disciplinary club for motoring and, in particular, motorsport enthusiasts. KLDMC is affiliated to the UK Motor Sports Association and is one of the most active and thriving Clubs in the east of England.
The Club was behind the Richard Burns Memorial Rally, run at RAF Marham in 2008.

We currently have around 90 members and are always looking for new recruits to maintain KLDMC as one of the premier Motor Clubs at the forefront of East Anglian motorsport. We welcome those with lots of experience and those with none, who just want to share and participate in the same kinds of motoring related events we do.
Our membership includes a wide range of motoring enthusiasts involved in all aspects of motorsport and who share an interest in all types of cars from classics to modern day.
A core group of our Club members is primarily involved with rallying from local 12 car events through Road Rallies to Enduro and Stage rallying. We are also proud of our enthusiastic group of marshals who help out at many national events – we have a number of ‘stage commanders’ amongst our midst as well as qualified radio operators. One of our marshals has even flown to marshal on the New Zealand round of the World Championship!
History
The origins of the club date back to the days of Raymond Mays and the then BRM Racing Equipe. It was during one of Raymond’s talks to a local organisation to raise funds for the team that sparked off the idea of a BRM Supporters Club. This club was duly formed in the early 50’s and, primarily held fund raising events for the team. KLDMC was formed in April 1953 as an offshoot of the BRM supporters club and has been going strong ever since.

Collaboration & Association Memberships
KLDMC is an active member of the Anglia Motor Sport Club, an alliance of motor clubs based in the East Anglia region.
KLDMC is also a member of the East Midlands Association of Motor Clubs, Association of Eastern Motor Clubs, Association of North East Midland Motor Clubs and the Association of South Eastern Motor Clubs.
Catchment Area
KLDMC covers a wide area from Littleport in the South, to Swaffham and Fakenham in the East and Spalding in the West. The OS Maps regularly used are 131, 132, 142, 143 and 144 which cover a large part of the ‘flat fens’ and the twisty west Norfolk lanes. We also have a number of regular club members from further afield.
Committee
The Club Committee is made up of an active group of members who compete as well as marshal and help organise events both within and outside the Club. Healthy discussion is always to be had, but above all, the members of the Committee are avid motor sport fans only too eager not only to get enjoyment from motorsport, but also to give enjoyment to others.
The Committee usually meets at The Runcton Holme Social Club on the third Monday of the month.
